Rajeev Mishra

Rajeev Mishra was India's hero in the Junior World Cup held in Milton Keynes in November 1997. Rajeev led India to a runner-up rating in a tournament in which the country had not qualified for 12 years. Rajeev led the list of goal-scorers in that World Cup. Not frequently do we unearth a talent as endowed as Rajeev.

In the domestic circuit, Rajeev Mishra plays for Northern Railway. Rajeev recently made his debut for the senior team in the Indo-German test series held in early January. He played in the 3rd test at Amritsar, and in the 4th test at Delhi. Rajeev scored goals in both of his matches.
