Accomplished centre-half Jude Felix first picked up a hockey stick at the age of nine in Bangalore in southern India, where he would play in the compound after school with friends. By 1983, Jude was playing for the national team and eventually captained the side.
Jude went to Singapore in 1995 as a player-coach, and in charge of youth development at the Singapore Recreation Club (SRC). In his inaugural season, SRC won the Johore Bahru league. Currently Jude Felix plays for a club in France.
With his wealth of national and international experience, Jude Felix's name regularly makes the shortlist of possible coaches of the Indian national team.
