The multi-million dollar, 12,000-seat, completely covered National Hockey Stadium of Malaysia at Bukit Jalil is ranked by many as the best hockey stadium in the world. It features a new Astroturf pitch, electronic scoreboards and a second stadium with a capacity of 2,000. The National Hockey Stadium was built specially for the Commonwealth Games, and will be a big factor in Malaysia's bid for the 2002 World Cup.
The women's stadium at Pantai, featured in the photograph below, can seat 3,500 fans, and also has Pitch One and Pitch Two. The floodlit Lembah Pantai stadium is used by the local university.
